How do you do that?

So many people ask how I get Courtney's hair so curly. (When it is super poofy, Alexander calls her "Napoleon Dynamite.")
Here's the big secret: FOAM curlers. Since she's been little she's tolerated them nearly every Saturday night, in preparation for looking beautimus for church on Sunday. I used to put them in when her hair was wet, but now that it's longer, I have to wait until it's dry.
The little ol' lady cap is the only way the curlers will stay in her hair all night. She didn't want to wear it at first, but I told her she'd look just like Strawberry Shortcake if she wore it. Now every time I put it over her curlers, we have to sing, "Straw-Straw-Straw-Straw-berry, Strawberry Shortcake."

Way cute! I'll have to try that on Alyssa. I've been using the curling iron on her hair almost every day and I worry about causing damage by doing this.

That is great that Courtney lets you do that. The outcome is adorable and so worth it!
