I was going a little stir-crazy at home last week, and as I was looking through blogs of other Moms to get inspired, I came across this website called www.organizedmom.net (thanks to my friend Natalie up in Utah). Inspiration found! They have this cool free trial software that totally organizes your schedule, tasks, goals, journaling, finances, recipes, shopping lists.. it's way fun!
In keeping with that theme, I've set up a 30-45 minute time each day to accomplish certain household chores. I'm the type that typically pulls a marathon stunt trying to get the house all clean at once. It's exhausting! So, with this schedule, the house is deep cleaned bit by bit throughout the week.
Yes, it's true. I never thought I'd be a Coupon Mom, but I've acquiesced. I'm by no means hard core, but if I can find a bargain, I'm all over it. I've been Q-ing for 4 months now and am really amazed at the savings through the Grocery Game. My Q's got a new home-- it's an alphabetized binder and is so much easier than the "baggie method" I was doing before. Spent $72, saved $120 today!

Fellow Q'er! Gotta l9ove the savings. I get so mad when I don't have a coupon to use !
I tried couponsense once, but never really got anything I ever really needed (or wanted) and gave up :( Everytime I go to the store I curse under my breath on how I need to be better and start it up again...but never do. I need coupon guidance.
OH! I did try the grocery game once. I signed up and the dumb thing wouldn't even log me in. After 3 months of emails they finally got my account that I could never use cancelled. *sigh* I did like couponsene's thing better though....
I never thought I'd feel comfortable being one of "those" coupon gals, but I must say, I get satisfaction from saving monies!
Coupon sense sounded too complicated for me, but I might have to try it if you think it's better. I know there are like 1000 CS-ers in Maricopa, so I guess I was trying to break the mold:)
You can thank me for getting fry's added to grocery game haahha My sister in law's sister in law told me about it, and it was the month after I finally gave up on CS the last time, and decided to try it. There were stores listed for our zip that weren't even here, and I think I was pmsing or something and I emailed them some slightly nasty email about how I wanted to use their service but couldn't since they had things like safeway listed and we only have fry's and bashas in town. Fry's was added the next day and they emailed me back and I signed up and that's when i discovered that their site wouldn't even let me log in after I made an account hahahaha.
My grandma saves the coupon inserts for me, so I have them all, but they're just in a big stack in my office. I SO need to do something about it...
CS is definitely more expensive than GG, but I like how you don't have to pay extra for ALL the stores (like i'd check the site if I were going to town near an albertsons)
Have you done http://www.thecouponclippers.com/ ? I have ordered once, but I don't even remember what it was LOL Something for free at the time. I ordered like 20 coupons for the free item. Very handy ;)
Just found your site because I co-blog with Sarah Kimmel at organizedmom.net.
Check out my site too, www.organizeitmom.com. I sell a coupon organizer (similar to yours but in grocery store aisle order instead of alphabetical). It's so cool!
