Each year the men insist on going out into the desert for some manly adventures. This was the first year they didn't have a rattlesnake as a guest in their campsite! This doesn't look like a very impressive mountain, but that trail in the background is actually a train.

Yes, this is how Alexander dressed for the event. The boys came home so tired, cranky, dirty & gross. I guess that's proof that it was a great, rugged camping adventure out in the desert!

Looks like they had a good time. Fathers and Sons in Nov. is a little different. Nick is bummed that he didn't know about this. Says he would have gone. They love Fathers and sons, and I like the break it gives me. ;)
