Day Camper

Aaaaaaaarg! Cub scout day camp is hands down the highlight of the summer for pre-teen boys. For three days they are constantly moving, building, and learning archery, BB shooting, swimming, yelling, obstacle courses, and the list goes on. Our camp goes for three days, and the boys don't get home until 11:00 p.m. By day three, they're beyond exhausted. This year's theme was Pirates of the Pueblo {as if you couldn't tell}. Xander Man loved every minute! {except for getting a nasty scrape on his back} I don't know how I feel about the camp giving them hoop earrings... Darren was able to go up and participate with the boys on their last day. These are a few pics he snapped with his phone.

Nice! I need to post my pics soon! I'm a slacker, haha. In the camp's defense, they didn't give them hoop earrings. One of the leaders from 6th ward, who was part of their den also, brought the patches and earrings to give to all the Webelos that were part of his den. I think they were selling that stuff at the trading post, but he brought it all to give to just these Webelos. I know, I was like what? The kids thought it was pretty funny though, LOL.
