The other day I was doing my hair, and discovered something hideous. I thought it was a piece of white embroidery floss. When I took a closer look, I realized it was MY HAIR!!! I quickly yanked it out-- yes, it was this completely bright white, coarse strand of hair on top of my head.
Then the freakout began. People my age are still having babies {whick makes me feel old, because I can't} and now THIS. I cried and had to call my Mom & Sister. Courtney told me, "Don't worry Mom, you're not THAT old, and you still have lots of dark dair." {pointing to my roots}

Oh no! Not the course, bright white strand of hair! I've had those for a while now. I'm going to go bald if I keep yanking them out :) I will say, Natalie, that you look so young and beautiful! And what's a few gray hairs? Means we're still breathing, right!?

So, I found that blasted first gray hair at 25. Don't believe me? Well, if you don't then it just proves that hair color works! Just be glad you're blonde....it's so much worse when your're dark. Note to self: when in doubt, go with highlights and DO NOT attempt to go "more natural" with some browner tones.
